What it is
Orthodontic treatment gently moves teeth into better positions. Fixed braces use brackets and wires; clear aligners are a series of removable trays.

Children, teens and adults with crowded, gapped or crooked teeth, or a bite that does not meet well.
What to expect

Aftercare
Clean carefully around braces, or wear aligners 20 to 22 hours a day. Wear retainers as advised.
