What it is
A denture that attaches to two or more implants in the jaw. It clicks firmly into place, so it stays put when you eat, talk and laugh.
Who it's for
People with no teeth in one or both jaws, and denture wearers who are tired of loose plates and adhesives.
What to expect
- 1
Consultation, X-rays and a scan to plan implant positions.
- 2
Implants are placed under local anaesthetic.
- 3
Healing while the implants bond with the bone, with your existing or a temporary denture.
- 4
Your new denture is fitted with attachments that clip onto the implants.
Aftercare
Remove and clean the denture daily, and clean around the implants. Regular check-ups keep the attachments working well.
